Today the kids took the bikes to the street for recess. I have been experimenting in my digital darkroom - lately I have been enjoying blowing out the colors on my
shots... I think it is a cool effect, although I am sure I will change my mind after awhile.

Good job with the pix. Keep having fun in your "digital photolab", your results are very cool! But, be careful -- I know from personal experience that it can become addicting!

The kids might be jealous but this mom isn't! A bit of peace appeals to me.
I hear ya. I can't wait 'till Caleb goes to school and I still have three years to go...but i'm counting

I will have plenty of peace when the kids are grown, which will be here before we know it... right now I enjoy having them home! Things were a lot less peaceful when they were in school, trust me.
You are right, the kids will be grown before you know it. And, it is lots of fun having them around to enjoy now. But, as for the "plenty of peace when they are grown" thing...I'll get back to you on that.
Really, I always wished we could live in parallel universes and could move back and forth in them because I loved being around the kids when they were little (and I miss those kids!), but I really love them as adults too!
I enjoy having my kids around too but I won't deny that some part of me looks forward to school- usually come the end of August.

I was always happy when the kids went back to school...now I wish I could go back and do things a little different...they don't stay young forever! Which can be good and bad!
