Seneca Day One.

We started out our first day here with a rather short, rainy boat ride, where Jack had his first-ever wakeboard run. He did great, got up his first time. He hopes to practice some more tomorrow. The sun finally won out, and we all spent a great day out playing on the lake, followed by a great seafood boil for dinner.

And we're off!

Hmm, seems like I say that quite a bit... anyway, we are headed for our beautiful lakeside retreat in South Carolina (um, I mean, the Alber's beautiful lakeside retreat) for some fun and relaxation. BTW, Jack had another x-ray on Wednesday which showed tremendous improvement - not 100%, but very very good. He is excited because he was hoping to wakeboard this weekend. We will leave you with some random shots...

Hanging out in the rainforest.

Enjoyed a lovely evening tonight at the Rainforest Cafe, where we met up with a segment of the T. Terrys. The kids of course had a great time together - as did the grown-ups! We appreciate their taking time out of their Disney vacation to hobnob with the locals!

Aunt Sherry ate this whole thing by herself!

And they're off!

We have just returned from dropping Jack and Andy off at Camp Wewa - their first ever sleep away camp! This is kind of a "get-your-feet-wet" week at camp, since it is only 3 days/2 nights. We will be picking them up Friday afternoon. Hopefully they will have some fun stories to tell when they return!

What Lies Beneath.

Rather than drive 20 hours on I95 yet again, we decided to try a little adventure and drive down the interiors of Virginia, North, & South Carolina. (In Georgia it was back on 95, but what can ya do?) While in Virginia, we made a stop at Luray Caverns in the Shenandoah Valley. It was truly amazing.
