Between laziness and labor.

"There is a temperate zone in the mind, between luxurious indolence and exacting work; and it is to this region, just between laziness and labor, that summer reading belongs." ~Henry Ward Beecher

Great picture and quote! Now that's the life. Perfect day, I'd say!

move leah and the chair to the beach and then it would truly be perfection.

No, for me perfection is right where she is. No hot sun, easy access to the little girls' room, cold drinks as needed, no fighting traffic -- you get the idea.

no hot sun? not for me. I'll take the hot sun on a beach with the breeze of the ocean and a cool drink by my side...I can always "go" in the ocean if need be...

exactly why I don't like swimming in the ocean.

I do love the beach, but sitting by the clear, blue, non-peed in, no weird sea creatures, no riptide pool with a well-stocked fridge just steps away does just fine...

Like mother, like daughter, like granddaughter. ;)

That seems like a great idea! But I'd have to agree with the pool over sea water...much better...and no sun for me...nice cool shade!
