Gator Surfing.

Yesterday we decided to ring out 2007 with a quick trip to Gatorland, a Florida icon we had not yet explored.

And, if anyone is bored of their Christmas tree ornaments and ready for a change, check out the innovative design of Gatorland's own Christmas Tree! Crushed beer cans! (The gold-colored Michelob can is a must-do for a truly festive holiday season!

Happy 2008, everyone! May the road rise up to met you.

Gatorland, cool! I think I went there when I was a kid when we took a trip from Greensboro (where we lived at the time) to Florida.

Like the new banner, btw.

are the gators in danger of going extinct? I can't think of any other reason to have a whole land dedicated to them and breed them...unless you get to drop rotten kids off there.

also...how did you get that picture as your header...it's really nice.

Scribe, if there were no Gatorland, where would all the gator-rasslin' hillbillys get jobs?

I just found out that Blogger added a way to import a photo into your header: when you go to your layout page, click "edit" in the header box... then upload whatever photo you want. I made the photo with the text in photoshop, saved it as jpeg and then uploaded it.

thanks!

but how'd you get it to accept a photo bigger than the original header?

I don't know, I didn't have a problem, it just took it. I cropped the original photo into the rectangle size, and had to save it as a lower res... maybe try that?

hmm, ok. your header is about twice the size of mine though. maybe it's a different template?
thanks
