Today Karen and I took the kids to see The Nina, an authentic reproduction of Christopher Columbus' favorite ship. (Check it out here: thenina.com) It is spending this week in port in Sanford, and is open to the public for tours. It was pretty neat to see the how the Europeans made their way across the Atlantic to the "New" World during the Age of Discovery. Looks like it was certainly a rough ride!
