Well, Jack decided to kick off his summer vacation in the ER!
Things got a little rough on the inflatable slide he was playing on while attending John's company picnic. He says he felt something crack, then pain. He said, "I think this is a
really big injury!" Xrays confirmed a broken collarbone. Jack was actually relieved to hear that it was broken - he was afraid he had dislocated his shoulder and would have to have it re-located. He will have to wear a sling for about 2 weeks, and will probably be completely healed in about 6 weeks.
He is doing great and was very brave!

The kids and I are taking a little vacation this week... we drove up to Seneca, South Carolina to visit our buds the Albers. We have all been having fun just relaxing and hanging out together. This evening we went out on Lake Keowee to watch Tommy as he practiced for his upcoming wakeboard competition. We are having a blast together as usual!
Today marked our last day of the school year! We celebrated with a small graduation party at Chili's. Here's to a fun, productive summer!
Last night we attended Pack 691's Blue and Gold Banquet, where Jack and his Denmates crossed over to the Webelos. Jack also received an award from the police department, recognizing his participation in the Longwood 9/11 memorial dedication ceremony.
