It certainly relieves my mind to know that my grandchildren are safe and snug inside their homes rather than having to venture off to school in the midst of such stormy weather. Do you think they'll have to be kept home safe and snug tomorrow, too? ;)
Public schools (Will) are closed again, have yet to hear about J & L's school. Madness!
i'll bet they were all very disappointed that school was cancelled. hope it doesn't get worse for you.
Finally the storm arrives and the kids go off to school. Hmmm. Andrew said as we pulled up to school, "Do you think those buses are going to flip in this wind?" Um, maybe. I agree with Amy...Madness! Of course Adam says "The waves are sick today" and I have been trained to believe that's a good thing.
And this is why Florida needs to be normal like everywhere else in the country and START SCHOOL AFTER LABOR DAY!
