We spent the weekend at dear ol' Disney - staying at Port Orleans and hitting Hollywood Studios (MGM), Magic Kingdom, and Epcot, along with Downtown Disney and the House of Blues. The crowds seemed to be scared away by T.S. Fay, which was fine with us. We did have a few downpours, but nothing a rain poncho couldn't help (unless you are a teenager who happens to believe ponchos are uncool... but enough on that.)
It was a great time. It was our first time at Disney where Will was really excited and into it all. He has always been dragged down there, but never really had an opinion on things. This time he happily went on the rides, and even asked to go twice on a few! It was a lot of fun seeing it all through his eyes.

yup, it's official- we're ready to come back! i know what you mean about teenagers and "uncool" ponchos-oh well. it looks like you had a fun time and even caught the sun!
Glad you had a chance to get out in the sun after being cooped up by Fay! It's especially wonderful to hear about Will's excitement visiting Disney. That little guy is most definitely making great strides!

BTW, it's funny that your teenager (I'm guessing Leah) would feel that way about a rain poncho. When we went to MNSSHP, she was the one who had thought to bring along a poncho from home and was the first to put it on when the skies opened up -- even over her costume!
What a difference a year can make, huh?
